Carnivale Delerium - a Steampunk circus event fantastique! Oct 22, 2010, Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago.
I wanted to go all-out colorwise with this one, but still keep it steampunk and slightly creepy. This event is an offshoot of our regular steampunk night, so I incorporated icons from earlier posters into this one (that and I was under a tight deadline, heh).
I really like the crowned flying brain air kraken thing wrapped around the dirigible. I also was pleased with how bright and glowy it all is. Yes, it's not dark and spooky like the carnivale itself will be, but it *is* attention grabbing -- and we've been getting attention for it already! Someone pronted up BW versions and has been hanging them before we could do color!
